Passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital with her loving family at her side, on Monday, September 5, 2011, at the age of 79. Predeceased by her beloved husband John. Cherished mother to Patricia LaCombe, Virginia Burtenshaw, Darlene Muir (Robert) and Chris Rivers (Maria). Also remembered by her numerous siblings. Beloved Nan of 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Lisa McCoy MacDonald for her wonderful care and compassion. The family will receive friends at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.
