Passed away February 21, 2017 at Hamilton General Hospital in her 93rd year. Loving wife of the late Heinz. Dear mother of Vera (Barry) Porter, and Doris (Nelson Connolly) Juergens. Proud grandmother of Bradley, Andrew, Gabrielle, Simone, Audrey and great grandchildren Adria, Rowan, Elliot, Hudson, and Wyatt. Beloved sister of Anna Mangold, and Hertha Hinz in Germany. Predeceased by her sister Erna Machatsch, and brother Friedrich Pogge. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Village of Wentworth Heights and Wesley Urban Ministries, as well as at the Acute Stroke Unit at Hamilton General Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, (at Kenilworth) on Saturday March 25, 2017 from 1-3 pm. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Royal Botanical Gardens or Wesley Urban Ministries would be appreciated.
