Passed away peacefully at Grace Villa Nursing Home on Monday, July 22, 2013, in her 93rd year, beloved wife of the late Gordon James Beckerson (November 1986), loving Mom to Bonnie Fraser (John) and son Mike, loving Grandma to eleven grand-children and ten great-grandchildren and one due in August 2013. Margaret was predeceased by her mother and father Laura and Reg Moffat, sons Bill, Reg and Don, daughter-in-law Betty, grandson Gordie and great-grandson Jonah, brothers Harvey, Reg and Carl and her sisters Verna, Jean, Eleanor, June and Lois. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Grace Villa for their wonderful care and support of Mom. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. at the Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Ave. East). Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Cresmount Chapel with interment to follow in the family plot at Woodland Cemetery. If friends desire, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
