Margaret Rose Campbell

Peacefully on July 10, 2013 at Victoria Gardens at the age of 84. Devoted wife of 66 years to Eric Campbell. Mother of Bernice Lyne (Bill) and Lorraine Burton (Barry). Grandma of Alexandra Gunn (Glen Turpin), Nancy Lyne (Matt Glover), Andrew Gunn and Matthew Gunn. Sister of Patrick Russell (June), Alice Gill (Frank, dec.) and Elsie McKune (Mac, dec.). Predeceased by her sisters Edna Ronaldson, Josephine Pickles (Jack, dec.) and Florence Postelt (Hugh). Marg will also be missed by her brother in-law Len Campbell (Joan), many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Marg was retired from Hamilton General Hospital after many years of service. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff of Victoria Gardens for their support and compassionate care over the last three years. Visitation will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL (1309 King Street East, across from Gage Park at the delta) on Thursday, July 18 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. In her honour donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated.
