Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Juravinski Hospital on December 23, 2015. Beloved wife of Alexander Finan for 60 years. Loved mother to Dan (Patricia) and Don. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Jessica, Kevin, Alexander, Matthew and Gregory. Survived by her sister Sharon Hanson, brother-in-law Jack Finan, sister-in-law Ann Finan and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Gladys O'Brien, sister Molly, brothers Richard, Patrick, Michael and Dennis. Peggy will be remembered for her avid gardening, her enthusiasm for sports, and her love for family, friends and neighbours. Visitation for Peggy will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at St. Eugene's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
