Margaret Elizabeth Mannett (Betty)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Betty at the age of 97. Predeceased by the loves of her life, husband Dallas W. Mannett (1991) and son Paul D. Mannett (2006). Also predeceased by her sister Dawn Northwood (George) and sisters and brothers-in-law Leola and Jim Staffen, Adele and Reg Strong and their son Doug. Survived by her brother Ben Bisbee (Doreen) and three nieces, one nephew and several grand nieces and nephews. Betty will be remembered as a strong, positive, resilient and friendly person who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed curling, lawn bowling, and travel. She was loved by all. She spent her final years at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke and the family would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff on Cedar Terrace for their loving care and support.

Visitation at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday April 3 at 10am until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11am followed by a private family burial.
