Margaret Turkington

Born in Hamilton, ON... on Good Friday, April 2, 2010 with her son and daughter by her side, grandchildren at her feet and under the vigilant care of an extraordinary team at the Hamilton General Hospital Rehabilitation facility, B2-South, Margaret passed peacefully and with the same grace by which she lived. Always remembered for 'that smile', quick wit, courage and a sparkle in her eyes, Margaret is survived by her son, David (Carole) and daughter Maryanne (Mickey); her granddaughter, whom she selflessly raised Darlene (Marty); her other grandchildren, Adam, Leah, Laura (Chris), Tracy (Mike), and Scott (Barbara); her great-grandchildren Justin (Ashley), Shannon, Charlotte, Rowan, Holly and Kristyn; her great great grandchildren Krysten and Jordan; cousins June (Adrian) and family, Shirley and family, and Bob (Arlene) and family, and extended family Jaime and Ashleigh. Visitation will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
