Maria Donata Borchetta

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Maria at the Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, January 16, 2023 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Elio. Predeceased by her first husband Leonardo Ciriello. Cherished mother of Al (Betty), Angie (Brian), the late Mary and Jack. Step-mother of Tony (Samantha), Ada (Mark), and Dino (Nancy). Proud Nonna of her many grandchildren. Maria will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, January 24th from 6-9 pm. Funeral Prayers will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener. Flowers gratefully declined, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
