It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved matriarch, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Maria Pasionek who passed away peacefully on March 19, 2021, at the tender age of 92 with the love of her family surrounding her.
Forever and lovingly remembered by her children Irena (Ted) Pasionek, Teresa (Zbyszek) Wołoch, Bogda (Zbyszek) Labak, Ewa (Jacek) Olszak and Staś (Martha Lucía) Pasionek, her grandchildren Ela (Cory), Ania, Robert, Christopher (Jessica), Renia (Zach), Dorothy, Annette, Maya Eléna, and Nathalie Ianina, her great-grandsons Zenek and Finnigan. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by the entire family in Poland and by many friends and extended family here in Canada and USA.
We trust that by God’s Mercy she will be joining her loving husband of 59 years Piotr Pasionek, her parents Benedykt and Stefania Smulski and the rest of our dearly departed family members in the promised house of our Heavenly Father.
Our mom was our rock, through her simple yet beautiful life devoted completely to her family, she showed us what is most important in life: faithful and loving family, kindness to others and strong faith. Prayer and acceptance of God’s will throughout her life and especially in the last weeks with us here was perhaps the biggest lesson of our lives.
We will see her in our gardens when the summer bounty blooms. We will see her in the forest when the mushrooms grow. We will take her on our walks and remember her in every flower we plant, in every rosary we whisper, in every Divine Chaplet we pray.......
“In every seed we sow, every plant we grow, every meal we make, every bread we bake, every step we take…oh for heavens sake….”
“Śpisz cicho, matuś kochana, bez smutków i bez cierpienia, nie płaczmy, to wola Pana wszystko na świecie zmienia”
