Marianne Vanderheide

Vanderheide; Marianne (nee Marx): Peacefully, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Saturday January 1st 2022 in her 91st year. Loving wife of John. Beloved mother of Wilfred, Jan and Suzanne. Treasured grandmother of Kyle, Eric and Hannah. Dear sister of Ella and Erika. Marianne will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. She will be remembered for her many sewing, knitting and crochet projects over the years, and was always proud of her flowers and vegetable gardens. In accordance with the regulations of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, due to COVID-19, all events are restricted to a specified number of attendees. Please RSVP for visitation in advance by calling 905-549-2417. All visitors are asked to remain in their vehicles until their allotted time period. Visitors are also required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Visitation will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King St E. (at the Delta), on Saturday January 22nd from 1:00 – 3:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Graveside service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1895 Main St., W., Hamilton, on Monday January 24th at 11:00 am.
