It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Marica on May 3, 2017 in her 62nd year. Beloved wife of Mirko for 41 years. Loving mother of Andriana, Katherine-Ann and Anita. Cherished daughter of Dragica and the late Josip. Loved sister of Milan (Ana) and Zdanka (Zeljko). Dear niece of Pavo (Zlata). Marica was the president of the CWL at Holy Cross Church and will be sadly missed by family and friends in Canada and Croatia. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with Rosary on Tuesday at 7:15 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 9:30 am. Cremation to follow. Donations in Marica’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
