Predeceased by her husband of 51 years Murchie Hanson (2015).
She is survived by her son Glenn (Linda) and daughter Lauren (Jim), along with grandchildren David (Lindsay), Jessica (Matt), Chanse and Evan.
Love and thanks to Kelly Collett, for many years of friendship and support. Special thanks also to the wonderful nurses and staff at Madison Village.
In keeping with Marie’s wishes, Cremation has taken place, to be followed by a private family celebration at a later date.
If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
