Passed away with family at her side at Heidehof Long Term Care, St. Catharines, on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband Alexander Letts. Loving mother of Nancy Lee and her husband Jeff, Dean, Dennis and his wife Karen. Grandma of Candice, Chris, Nicole, and Jared and great grandma of Bryson and Logan. Sister of Henry Zahara and his wife Diane. She will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Renate, nieces, nephews and friends. Marie was an active member of Bethel Gospel Tabernacle in Hamilton. Special thank you to the staff at Heidehof for their care and compassion especially Karen for her dedication and love. Visitation will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford), Hamilton, on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 12 - 2 p.m. Funeral Service will follow in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment following at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
