She was the beloved wife of Raymond for 59 years, and she was the love of his life. Devoted mother of Josee, Norman (Laurie) and Cindy (Sharon). Cherished Grandmother of Jordan, Hayden, Maya and Paul and Great-grandmother of Eden and Celeste. Marielle will be sadly missed by all of her brothers, sisters, extended family and many friends. She loved her role of Grammy more than anything. Her grandchildren were her pride & joy, and she played a big role in helping them grow into the wonderful young adults they are today. She was an amazing cook, she loved to read, her favourite colour was yellow and she was known for nurturing her family and extended family alike. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, on Friday, January 12 from 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Notre Dame du Perpetuel Secours, 132 Blake Street, on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11 am. Cremation to follow.
