Marifa Arellano Basilla

Marifa was the beloved wife of Dante Basilla for 17 years, and a devoted mother to Brian Joseph. She was also a loving stepmother to Mark Jason and Dan Christian. Marifa will be remembered fondly as a cherished sister to Eugenia Rabanera (Dionisio), and will be deeply missed by her siblings and extended family in the Philippines.

Her children will always carry with them the warmth and love she gave so selflessly each day. The family would like to express special thanks to the PSWs who provided care at home during her illness, as well as the staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their compassionate support.

Marifa was a devoted member of Divine Mercy Hamilton, where she regularly nurtured her faith through prayer. We also wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our friends and family who have supported us throughout the years.

Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E., on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 1-9 p.m., with prayers to be said at 6:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1895 Main Street West.
