It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Marilyn, at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario on Friday, October 10, 2025, surrounded by family. Beloved wife of late Ron (May 2025). Cherished Mother of Melissa and the late Mike (2009) (Cindy). Proud Grandma of Emily (Benny), Alyssa, Jessie, and Frank. Dear Sister of Walt (Nancy), Mark (Claudette) and predeceased by sister Arleen (Bill). Marilyn is missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and multitude of friends.
Marilyn was an amazing artist, poet and oil painter. She loved to see people smile, and leaves behind a legacy of kindness.
Visitation will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM in the chapel. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Burlington.
