Marjorie Eleanor Williams

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Marjorie Eleanor Williams (née Culm) on October 20, 2025, just weeks shy of her 99th birthday. Marjorie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.

Beloved wife of the late John Williams (2014). Cherished daughter of the late Daisy Culm (née Adams) and the late Harry Culm. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Lyle Culm (1989) and Harold Culm (2002). Loving mother of Marilyn (Paul), Don, Ken (Margaret), and Larry (Kathleen), and predeceased by her son Brian (1997).

Marjorie was a devoted grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother to 18. She held nearly a century of memories, recalling every detail and carrying the family’s history with warmth, humour, and deep love. Her keen memory, gentle wit, and storytelling spirit made her the heart of her family.

Her remarkable ability to play the piano by ear brought music into every corner of family life. The melodies she shared at gatherings and quiet moments alike will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of Wentworth Lodge for the dignified and compassionate care they provided over the past five years and throughout her final days.
