Mark Wayne Smith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden, but peaceful, passing of Mark Smith in his 47th year with his wife Wendy Smith and his mother Joyce Duffy at his side on February 3, 2016 at the Stedman Community Hospice. Loving husband of 22 years to Wendy, wonderful father to Amy and Andrew. Loving son of Joyce Duffy (Adrian) and Jim Smith (Alison); predeceased by dad Paul Hili. Loving brother to sister Kasey and brother to Tony (Lindsay). Mark will be greatly missed by his father-in-law Jim Small (Judy), mother-in-law Doreen Smith (Dalton), sister-in-law Cathy (Jeff) and brother-in-law Ron. Mark leaves behind nieces and nephews Brian, Samantha, Reece, Alessandra, Summer, and Blair along with uncles Jimmy (Jeanette), Scott (Barbara) and aunt Barb (Bill); predeceased by his uncle Johnny. He will be greatly missed by his many friends. As per Mark’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Mark's life will be announced in the near future. In memory of Mark donations may be made to any one of the following: Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford, the Mark Preece Family House in Hamilton or the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
