Passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on January 10th, 2011. Martin was survived by his children Chelsea and Derek (Erin), his sister Heather (Darlene), his Mother Isabel, and predeceased by his father John. Martin was retired from Stelco. He was the Recipient of a Medal of Bravery for rescuing two friends from an icy river in 2000. Martin was a private pilot who flew out of Peninsula Air. Martin was also an avid remote control hobbyist of planes and cars. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel followed by cremation.
