Mary Lyle

LYLE, Mary (nee Drummond) - Peacefully at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario on April 13, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Mary had a long and wonderful life and was a courageous Polio survivor of the 1953 Polio epidemic. Beloved wife of Jim Lyle, their three children Ian (daughter Katie), Ross, Marney and her husband David Campbell and their three children William, Elizabeth and Allyson. Mary was much loved and will be remembered by her family and friends in Canada, United States, Great Britain and her church community. The family wishes to express their gratitude and respect to Ms. A. Mazza-Whalen (family physician) and the staff at Juravinski Hospital for their care and compassion towards Mary and our family. Family and friends are invited to join with us at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be appreciated by Mary's family.
