WHITMORE, Mary Doris (nee Turnbull) – Peacefully with her children by her side, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in her ninety first year. Much loved wife of the late Harold Whitmore. Loving mother of Robert and his wife Judi, Mark and his wife Eva, and Joan Berberian and her husband Sarkis. Dear and cherished grandmother of Erin (David), Scott (Sharon), Jillian, Dale, Kim (Conor) and Tim. Much loved great grandmother of Alistair and Isla. A very special thank you to devoted caregivers and friends Lezyl Pearman and Rhodara Almocera and to all of the exceptional staff of Trillium Lane (St.Joseph’s Villa). We shall never forget your kindness. Doris will be missed by her many good friends.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will be held. Friends are invited to visit with members of the family at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main St. East, (east of Sanford), on Wednesday January 6, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
