Mira "Mirjana" Buric

Predeceased by her cherished sons Tomi and George. Loving sister of Sava (the late Dragan), and the late Neda (the late Sado). Mira will always be lovingly remembered by her niece Teja and Dado and their families, as well as her nieces Ivanka, Neda and nephew Ivan and their families in Mostar. She has been loved and cherished by her nieces Silvia (Ryan) and daughter Stella, Jacqueline (Gord) and sons Sean and Kristofer, dearest family friends Bozo & Danica Petroci, Josef & Audrey Kasunic , Ivica & Silvana Perenic and many many more devoted friends, extended family and many friends in Canada and Europe. Mira loved the outdoors, gardening, her flowers, walks at the lake, but there was nothing she loved more than being with her beloved George. Her and George took many vacations to Cuba where they met many friends. Mira was a special “Mama” to all of us. She rescued and nurtured so many orphaned cats and kittens all around her farm, feeding them daily and loving them unconditionally. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved her. Special thank you to the Dr.’s, nurses and staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital and all other cherished friends. Cremation has taken place.

Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 5-8 pm. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, donations in Mira’s name to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital would be sincerely appreciated.
