

Loving mother of Lynda Smith (Ray) and Dianne Morse (Gord). Loved Nana of Michelle Sparks (Colin), Charlene Todd (Steve) and John Smith (Shelley). Great grandmother of Connor Sparks, Belynda, Tyler, Mitchell, Leilani, Christian and Savannah Todd. Loving aunt of Sandra Seltzer (Jeff), Donna Tank (Detlef), Jim Shields (Marilyn), Art Whitehouse (Marion), Robert Whitehouse and Walter Hendsbee (Brenda). Predeceased by parents Walter and Anne Hendsbee, son John Jr. (1998), granddaughters Samantha O'Dell (2001) and Krysti-Lynn Morse (2016), sisters Louise Whitehouse and Dorothy McCarthy, brothers George and David Hendsbee and brother-in-law Mac McCarthy. Myrtle devoted her life to her family and was very proud of them. She enjoyed many years with her Red Hat friends and will be greatly missed by many friends at Pike Lake. A very special “THANK YOU” to all of the staff, on the fourth floor, Tulip Gardens, of St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas.
Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E, Hamilton on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 11-1 p.m with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Burlington. If so desired, memorial donations to St. Joseph's Villa, Dundas would be appreciated by the family.
