Nada Mesic

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearest Nada Mesić on October 10th, at the age of 71, a truly kind-hearted soul whose warmth, love and generosity touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Beloved wife of Ivan for 54 wonderful years. Devoted mother to Zlatko and John (Barbara).

Cherished grandmother of Ivan, Maximir and Emilija.

Predeceased by her parents Zora and Mate Šprajc.

Much loved sister of Anica (Ivan) Vranić and Katica (Ivica) Devčić, and sister-in-law Kata Mesić.

Adored aunt of Vlatka Gostović, Matija (Tonka) Vranić, Jean (Jim) Zvonar, Diana (Joe) Cvitak, the late John Devčić with their families.

Nada will also be dearly missed by kumovi Tomo and Ivanka Devčić and family, good friends Ana and Nick Krakar, Rudi and Vera Ribarić, many extended family and friends across Canada, Croatia and Germany.

Nada was an exceptional wife, mother and grandmother who cared deeply for her family. Her warm smile and infectious laughter would light up a room. She made time for everyone and always provided support and love for her family and friends.

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 4-9pm with Rosary at 8pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 11 am

Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
