Nancy Melinda Fedoruk

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Fedoruk on October 26th, 2024 at the age of 95 after a courageous battle with Covid, exacerbated by late Alzheimer’s. Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her children Greg (Elizabeth) and Suzanne, her grandchildren Jessica, Rebecca, Simon, Natasha (Tony), Jason and Travis, and her great-grandchildren Xander and Dakota.

Nancy was born in Birmingham England to Robert and Annie Brown, where she later went on to work as a darkroom technician. In 1953 Nancy came to Canada, where she met her loving husband Murray on a trans-Atlantic liner on the journey over; they went on to settle in to their new life and family having two children, Greg and Suzy.

Nancy will be fondly remembered for her kind and helpful nature, her beautiful smile and keen mind always interested in the world around her. She had a particular love for boats and woodworking, and enjoyed her many travels back to the UK and to Florida with family and good friend Bernadette.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

Cremation has taken place as per Nancy’s wishes and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
