Nellie (Anastasia) Shugan

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the passing of our loving mother Nellie Shugan on January 27, 2016 in her 93rd year. Dearest and caring mother of Dorothy Pidsadny (Fred) and Linda Gale (Fred), Step-son Bill (Eleanor), step-daughter Sandra (Dave McDade).

Predeceased in 2013 by her loving husband William Shugan and her dear husband Freddie Paulishyn in 1971.

Mom always enjoyed family gatherings and vacations with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, Gregory Senko (Seungbin), Christy Jeffers (Kevin, Megan, Kayla, and predeceased by Michael), Jeffrey Pidsadny (Maddie, Cayce), Cathy McGrath (Tony, Zachary, Brianna), Stephen Pidsadny, Shane and Adam McDade.

Mom will also be missed by her sister Olga Serediuk (John) and her family. Visitation at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm where the Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11am. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nellie’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
