HNATYSHYN, Nicholas 1918-2011 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our much loved, wonderful Dad, Nicholas Hnatyshyn, on April 5, 2011, in his 93rd year. Predeceased by the love of his life, Helen in 1982. Beloved hero to Linda and Jim Leeman; Larry and Bev Hnatyshyn. Cherished Papa of Lindsey and Mike Adams; Greg Hnatyshyn (Cassandra); Lesley Leeman and Kelly Hnatyshyn (Mark). Most precious Great-Papa to Nicholas, Emma and Lily Adams. Brother-in-law to Doris Hnatyshyn. Nick was predeceased by twelve siblings all born in Saskatchewan. Honoured Veteran of WWII and former employee of International Harvester. Special thanks to Dr. Peter Bzonek and staff of the Carlisle Medical Centre, as well as the dedicated and compassionate staff at Emmanuel House, whose support enabled our Dad to take this journey with dignity and love. Visitation on Thursday, April 7th at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home at 1774 King Street East in Hamilton (at Kenilworth Avenue and King Street) 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, April 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, Hamilton on Barton Street and Nash Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Emmanuel House, 90 Stinson Street, P.O.
