Olga Julianna Boras

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother and loving grandma, Olga Boras, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Peter (1999), cherished mother of John (Diane), Anne (Roy) and Kathi (Joe Lukasik), and awesome grandma to Nicole, Leah, (Dave and son, Hudson) and Emily; also missed by Kali, Kristin, Jessie, and Mandee. Predeceased by her parents, Sandor and Emily Csucs and brother, Alex. She will be greatly missed by her relatives in Calgary, Croatia and Australia, her dragi Kumovi, and her many dear and treasured friends. "Grandma" was loved by anyone who had the privilege of knowing her - her kind and generous heart radiated everywhere she went - she was a true example of living life as Christ taught us. Our family invites you to join us as we celebrate our extraordinary mother. Visitation will be held at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. East, on Friday, July 1 from 2-4 and 6-9, with prayers at 7:15pm. Funeral mass will take place on Saturday, July 2 at 9am at Holy Cross Croatian Parish, 1883 King St. East. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Holy Cross Parish.
