The Lopinski home in Hamilton was one block from my house and Mrs Lopinski’s son Larry was my childhood friend.   In 1960 he was on my living room couch when I returned home for my 7th birthday surprise party.   I’m just now reading of both Larry’s passing as well as Mrs Lopinski’s passing. We are so sorry to hear about Mrs. Lopinski.  I have many, many fond memories of Ollie while we were growing up, (living next door to such wonderful neighbours).  Ollie was always so full of life with such a positive attitude.  When I came to visit my Mom & Dad, I always looked forward to saying hello to Ollie, as well as Bert.  You all have an amazing angel looking down on you & watching over you as you journey through life.

very sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom -Lori, Donna, Julie. This has brought up some great childhood memories. 

Sad to hear about Olie. We remember so many great boxing day parties over the years as we watched all of our children grow into adults. Sincere condolences to Bert and family and we know that all of us will miss her.
