Pearl Ann Cooper

Loving mother and grandmother, 76, passed away peacefully December 23, 2017 at Macassa Lodge, Hamilton. Pearl is preceded in death by her husband Brian Cooper (1937-1992) and her sons David (1960-2009) and Michael (1964-2009). She will be missed by her mother, Juana Smith (Acciarolli)and her dear brothers and sisters-in-law Tom and Lois Smith and Rick and Judy Smith. Fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Allan Cooper and her niece Yvonne. Pearl was also a loving aunt to Brenda, Darryl, Patrick and Heather. Pearl was a very special mother and grandmother to David and his son Aren, Michael and his children Brian and Alicia, Nancy and her children Anthony and Nicholas (Minotti), and Brad and his children Liam, Eric and Lauren. Pear is also lovingly remembered as a wonderful mother-in-law to Cynthia, Kirsten and Laura Cooper. Pearl was a dear friend to many and a strong person who lived her life with humour and grace. She was grateful for the many years of happiness she had with her close friend Chris Smirnios. Pearl would have appreciated contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada. Funeral services will take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, December 28, 2017. Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m.
