Pearl Rose Violet Lewandowski

With great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother “Pearly-White” on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Juravinski Hospital in her 88th year. She passed from Sue’s arms into the arms of her beloved husband Dan; together they are dancing again. Loving and cherished mother of Sue Kelley, Dave Lewandowski, Dan Lewandowski, and Pat Morrison. Pearl was blessed to be Grams and Gigi to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pearl will also be dearly missed by her brother-in-law William Sr. and nephew Bill Jr. “Pinky”. During her final four years, Pearl became “Mumsy” to the earth angels who walked this incredible journey with Mom while providing such tender care. Also, a special thanks to the staff on Juravinski B3 Ward. The support of friends and colleagues will never be forgotten. Blessings to all! Friends and family will be received at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 8 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As you celebrate Pearl’s life, please perform a random act of kindness in her honour.
