It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Horner, 62, of Hamilton, Ontario, who passed away on September 1, 2025.
Born in Kingston, Ontario, son of Denise Horner and the late Gerry Horner, Peter made his home in Hamilton where he will be remembered for his humor, kindness, and the love he shared with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Denise Horner, and siblings Lorraine (Conrad), Jason (Teresa), Gerald, Kirsten (Jerry), and Sean, and predeceased by his father, Gerry, and brothers Terry and Michael. Peter was a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 PM at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The AIDS Network or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Peter’s memory.
