Surrounded by his loving family on June 4, 2013 at the age of 74. Cherished father of Jeff (Kristen), Shannon Bachand (Jay), Chris (Kayla) and Kyle. Special papa to Taylor (Kyle), Shawna, Emily, Owen, Noah, Shannon, and papa papa to Isabella. Will be lovingly be remembered by Carol, many extended family and wonderful friends. His passions were sports and cars, from Bowling at Skyway Lanes, to Hockey Games and participating in Slow Pitch Tournaments. A dedicated and long time employee of Rosedale Transport retiring after 25years. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Village of Wentworth Heights for their exceptional care. Family and friends are welcome to visitation at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 6-9pm with cremation to follow. A gathering and celebration of Ray’s life will be held at Skyway Lanes 235 Melvin Avenue on Friday June 7, 2013 at 2pm. In Lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
