It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ray at the Juravinski Hospital on August 11, 2014 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Howarth) for 53 years. Loving father of Laura Halbert (John) and Teresa DeCoste (Edward Pottery). Cherished Papa of Adam, Connor Halbert and Brandon, Dylan Pottery. Ray will be sadly missed by his many brothers, sisters, family and friends. Special thanks to the Juravinski Hospital for their exceptional care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm where the Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 1:30pm. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association.
