Remedios Genato Tiano

Remedios was a devoted mother to Michael Clement Tiano (Beth) and Raquel Pinaroc (Edge), and a cherished grandmother to Miguel, Marielle, Michelle, Isabel, Nicholas, Bianca, Raphael, Paolo, and Lucas. She was a loving sister to Matilde Hawley, and affectionately known as “Ate Remy” by her dear friend Felipa. She will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and many friends both in Canada and the Philippines.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Juravinski Hospital – F4 for their kindness and care. Remedios will be remembered for her warm sense of humour, generous heart, and unwavering faith. Her love for others and daily prayers were a source of strength and comfort to all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 3:00 p.m.
