GLIGOR, Remus Carol - Passed away with his family by his side, on Monday, August 17, 2020 at St. Peter's Hospital, in his 85th year. Beloved husband for over 60 years of Sofia. Loving father of Elena (Benny) Soica. Beloved grandpa of Ben and Vivian. Dear brother-in-law of Antonetta and Petre Duncescu. Lovingly remembered by Loredona, Emilia, Valentina and Adrian and their families.
In accordance with the regulations of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario due to COVID-19, all visitations, funerals and interments are restricted to a specified number of attendees. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, as well as provide name and telephone number to funeral home staff. Friends and family are invited to the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton, on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel, on Thursday, followed by interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Remus may be made to the Romanian Baptist Church, 130 Victoria Ave. North, Hamilton, ON L8L 5E5.
