Passed away peacefully at Grace Villa Nursing Home at the age of 97. Predeceased by her husband Bruno.

Loving mother of Rosanna (John) Battaglio, Laura DeVincenti, and Peter (Debborah Carr). Devoted and proud Nonna of Stephen, Jeannette, Elizabeth, Daniel (Cuc), and Andrew. Proud great-grandmother of Esme, Daniel and Cuc's daughter. Predeceased by her sister Gemma Trevisan (the late Nino), and brother Bruno Busatto. Rina will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada and Italy. A tremendous cook, Rina was always hospitable and loved cooking for her family. A loving wife, mother, Nonna and friend. Rina will be missed by all of those who knew and loved her. The family wishes to thank the first floor staff as well as the front-line staff at Grace Villa for their care, love and support throughout the outbreak and pandemic.

Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. Private Funeral Service with Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Funeral Service and Interment will be available to view on Thursday, June 10, 2021 beginning at 11:30 a.m. by logging on to the services page of www.markeydermody.com If desired, in lieu of flowers donations to Grace Villa Nursing Home would be appreciated.
