Robert “Bobby” Stephen McDade

He is reunited with the love of his life Maureen. Loving father of Kristen Szoczek (Peter) and cherished grandpa of Jesse and Joey. Adored son of Thomas and Betty (predeceased). He will be dearly missed by his siblings Tim, Karen (Brad) and Susan (Bene), sister-in-law Linda and brother-in-law David. Uncle to Melissa, Jamie, Evan and Spencer. He will be remembered by many friends and his fur baby Molly.

Bobby spent his career as a Water Treatment Operator at the Hamilton Water Plant and the Welland Water Treatment Plant. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Montreal Canadiens. He was a kind and caring soul to everyone he met and had a genuine love for animals. He will be missed by the many lives he touched.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday June 26, 2024, from 11am until the time of the Memorial Service at 1pm in the funeral home's chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton and Burlington SPCA would be appreciated.
