Aunt Norma, cousins Kevin, Kathy and families.  It is with heartfelt sadness We send our condolences to you all.  I have so many fond memories of uncle bob taking me around yarmouth when I was young and telling me stories and jokes.  These memories I will always treasure.  My father Earl always spoke highly of uncle bob.  He was a great dad, husband, grandfather and uncle.   I wish We would have been able to make his funeral but unfortunately we were unable.    I hope you liked our flowers.  Much love and know we are thinking of you at this difficult time.

Aunt Norma, Cousins Kathy and Kevin, I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Bob's passing.  A memory of Uncle Bob that always brings a smile to my face is attending the Bishop Christmas party's and Santa coming and giving out gifts.  No one played Santa better.  Always jolly putting a smile on everyone's face.  It had been a couple of years since I saw him last (with Dad) and he was still laughing and telling jokes.  You are all in my thoughts at this sad time.  Lots of Love & Hugs

I have fond memories with him when we visited when I was a young girl and when I saw him at Nannie Sadie's house, also when I was a young girl. He was a wonderful man. I have so many fond memories of Bob as I was growing up in Yarmouth.  His son Kevin and I were best of friends and I went rabbit hunting with Bob and Kevin on occasion.  Every memory I have of Bob brings a joyful smile to my face.  Rest in peace Mr. B, you will be missed by many and respected by all.

It is with a heavy heard I write my words of condolences. Bob has been my father for over 40 years. I will miss him terribly. To my mother in law Norma even though I can't be there for you at this difficult time please feel my love.  To Kathy my sister in law,thank you for being strong, I am so sorry for your loss. To my children Laura and Adam, I wish I could be there to comfort and hold you as you go through a very sad time, grampy was special,cherish the memories and stay close to each other. To my beautiful grandchildren, Kyle, Vienna and Zeelen. You have to be brave for mommy, you are so lucky to have had a great grandfather in your life,remember him always. And my dear niece Kristine,you have been so strong through all this. And lastly to Kevin sorry for your loss. He is also my loss.

Words don't really describe my sadness at hearing about the passing of my Uncle Bob. He has always been a hero to me since the day I was born. He was also a hero during the Korean war and served in the Canadian Navy. He was the deputy police chief in our home town of Yarmouth Nova Scotia and was always a person his family and friends looked up to. Bob always had a quiet strength and was a protector of his family and defined what being a good dad was all about.Because of circumstances in Fredericton I am not able to fly to Hamilton at this time. This bothers me a great deal. I had always thought that when this day happened I would fly to Hamilton.I miss and love all my relations in Hamilton. It has been such a long time since we connected in person. I will never forget my Uncle Bob. His spirit and strength has left a mark with me. May his soul be at peace. Your nephew.
