Robert Milne Lawton

Robert Milne Lawton, Peacefully on February 28th, 2019 in his 69th year at Hamilton General Hospital. Much loved father to Kimberly (Ryan), Adam, and David (Anneliese) and Grandpa to Jack and Maxwell. Born in Hamilton, Ontario on November 23rd, 1950 and beloved son of Shirley and the late Milne Lawton. Dear brother of Rick (Lesia) and his late siblings John, Paul, and Connie. Robert (Bob) will be dearly missed by his sister in law Marn, many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Bob was a Mechanical Engineering graduate from McMaster University ('72) and an MBA graduate from the University of Toronto. Bob was a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario and following his career in engineering and sales he worked as a realtor in recent years. His family will receive friends for a memorial gathering at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 305 East 37th St. on Monday March 4th, 2019 at 10 a.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Engineers Without Borders Canada would be appreciated by his family.
