On June 30, 2010 Robert at age 71 went to be with the Lord. He will be sadly missed by his two sons Robert (Tracy),William (Budsarin) and Goddaughter Deborah McIvor. Devoted grandpa to Jessarah, Emily and Tommy. Brother to Werner (Millie) of Tonawanda, New York. Dearly missed by his nieces and their families. Robert was a former employee of Burlington Steel and DHL “Loomis” Courier Service. Special thanks to the staff at St.Peter’s Hospital for their care and assistance. Robert was a dedicated member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church and a longstanding member of the choir. Visitation will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1744 King Street East (at Kenilworth) 905-547-1121 on Friday, July 2, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will be held on Monday, July 5, 2010. In lieu of flowers, Robert would have loved donations to be made to the Christian Children’s Fund of Canada which was always dear to his heart.
