Roman Perschon

Beloved brother to Grace Kozbial (Andrew), passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on December 26, 2020.

Predeceased by his mother, Wanda Perschon and his father, Johannes “Jan”. Roman will be remembered as a very devoted son, lovingly taking great care of his mom in the later years. He always spoke affectionately of his sister Grace, how he enjoyed accompanying her to various activities while growing up. One of his favourites was going to the library together. Roman enjoyed all genres of music, but especially that of Elvis Presley. He was one of the original members of the Polish, Grammy nominated, multi-award winning, John Gora Band. Roman was a performing member of ‘Grono Młodziezy’ youth dance group. Later, he garnered numerous trophies in various ‘Pairs’ dance competitions. No doubt, that all that dancing contributed to Roman becoming a formidable competitor on the tennis court! Roman’s love of music and performance culminated in an entrepreneurial venture as he opened and operated his own, successful Karaoke business.

The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for giving Roman their loving, compassionate, comfort and care.

Cherished, loving memories of Roman will live on through those many whose lives he touched over the years.
