Predeceased by his son Wayne Dowling (January 18, 2024). Cherished father to Cindy Dowling-Waltenbury. Adored grandfather to John (Jessica), Maggie, Janice, Michael, Jesse, Cole, Shayne, Brittney and Conner. Father-in-law to Lorna. Predeceased by his son-in-law Cam Waltenbury (2015) and his grandson Terry Kozack. He will be deeply missed by his great-grandchildren Lucas Kozack, Kylie Kozack and Walter Dowling. Special thanks to the hospital staff at the Juravinski Hospital for the kind care and compassion given to Ron. Keeping with Ron's wishes cremation has taken place. He will be laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery with his parents in the Spring.
