It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother on August 6, 2019 at the age of 87.

Predeceased by her loving husband Ron, son Richard, son-in-law Gus and great-grandson Denver. Cherished mother to Annette Di Diodato (Ed) and Antonette McLaughlin (Danny). Adored grandma to Adrienne (Chris), Rick (Kathy), Lisa (Steve), Cindy (John), Trisha (Josh) and Kimmy (Matt). Great grandmother to Mariah, Megan, Caydence, Colson, Holden, Mia and baby Nova. Predeceased by brothers Phillip (Ethel) and Anthony (Rose), and sister Mary (Charles). She will be deeply missed by her cherished friend Lillian, her niece Diane, daughter-in- law Jennifer and many nieces and nephews.

Rose will be remembered for her infectious laugh, sense of humour, her love for Elvis and her social personality. Rose always welcomed eveyone with open arms and would feed every person that walked through her doors or within a 100 yards of it. Special thanks to the staff at The Wellington and Juravinski Hospital (Emeregency) for their amazing care and compassion to Rose and our family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Assosciation in Rose's memory.

Visitation will be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street E. (at Kenilworth) on Friday, August 9th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with vigil prayers to be said at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of our Blessed Lord, Barton & Nash Rd. on Saturday, August 10th at 9am. Cremation to follow.

Hello. I am Ron Chalut’s grand-daughter from his first marriage. My mom is Suzanne. I didn’t know Rose well considering the nature of the break up of my family, but she did certainly feed us well when we visited! I will always remember her hair....always perfectly done.

Many blessings to your family.

Dear sweet Rose...she was my Mother's dining partner at the Wellington and will be missed so much by her friends at the Home. Her bubbly personality and quick to laugh nature was appreciated by so many..especially my Mother Andie. I know her friends there are filled with shock and sadness over losing Rosie. Our thoughts and prayers are with Annette and her Family.and all of Roses family . rest in Peace dear Rose...Sleep in the arms of the Angels...you will never be Forgotten..until we meet again.
