She is the third oldest of eight siblings. She lived her life dedicated to her faith which she showed through how she devoted her life taking care of those she loves, a strong prayerful life and through her acts of kindness to others.
In her career, she had explored becoming a nun but then her path opened towards education where she became principal and was beloved by many. She moved to Canada in 1991, took courses as a PSW and became a caregiver.
She travelled around the world visiting family and religious sites. In 2009, she suffered a stroke yet this did not stop her from remembering every birthday and anniversary. Rosita celebrated her last birthday and Christmas with family.
Rosita died peacefully surrounded by her family. She was known as Ninang, Tita , Lola and Kang Rosing by many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She will be missed by many family and friends as her kindness, faith and love will continue to inspire us to be better.
The family would like to thank St. Joseph’s Villa for their loving care during the 16 years that Rosita lived there and the wonderful memories and friendships she developed. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Joseph’s Villa Foundation- Long Term Care.
