Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Thursday, November 4, 2010, in his 85th year. Left to grieve and miss him are his wife of 59 years, Antonija, his son Gary (Addie) and daughter Veronica (Peter). Dearest and loving grandfather of Paul, Alexandra, Melissa, Lauren, Jessica, Brandon, Ryan and Abby. Rudy was owner of one of the first General Stores on the west mountain, Rudy’s Groceteria which he operated with his loving wife for 39 years. He was a kind and considerate man who was well loved and respected. As well he was a man of great integrity and compassion. Visitation at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East, on Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Prayer vigil at 7 p.m. Celebration of the Mass will be offered at Regina Mundi Parish, 631 Mohawk Road West (at Upper Paradise Road), on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph’s Hospital or McMaster Children’s Hospital or by hugging your children or grandchildren.
