Sandra Louise Mascioli

Surrounded by her loving family, and after a brave battle with cancer, Sandra left us on July 19th at the young age of 53. Sandra will be missed so very much and lovingly remembered by her mother, Francesca, siblings, Assunta, Rocco (Wendy), Adorno, Frank (Darlene), and Gabriella, along with her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends and colleagues. Predeceased by her father, Ernesto, sisters, Anna and Angelina, and brother, Bruno.

Sandra was a free spirit, very independent – living her life her way. She had a great love for her plants, wrestling, cooking, baking, helping people, and her Dodge Challenger – she had the biggest of hearts! Her strong work ethic brought her to The Brant Centre Retirement Home where she worked as a Dietary Aid for over 8 years, as well as working part time at Tim Hortons for many years.

Thank you to Dr. Jimenez and Kathy at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Dr. Bev Haddersley, Nola and nurses at St. Peter’s Hospital for your compassionate care - you are truly exceptional people and Sandra really appreciated all that you did for her.

Visitation will be held at the Cresmount Funeral Home Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Ave East, on Saturday July 23, 2016 from 1 – 4pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 4 pm in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow.
