Loving father of Frank, Michael, Teresa and her husband Frank Valla, Nick and his wife Margaret Bohm, and Diana and her husband Domenic Foti. Treasured Nonno of Talisa (Richard), Shauna (Renato), Nicholas (Chloe), Sherry (Brian), Miranda, Justin (Chantelle), Michael (Chelsea), Caterina (Matt), Vanessa (R.J.), Santino (Briann). Cherished great-Nonno of Alexis Grace, Leia Rey, Hannah, and Chiara. Dear brother of Rudy (Peggy) Cervini, Vincenza (George) Gesuale, Larry (the late Giuliana) Cervini, Pat (Ania) Cervini, the late Filomena (Guy) DeGiuli. A past employee of Ford Canada, from which he retired in 1998 after 45 years. Sante was an avid gardener, and was especially proud of his tomato plants. He was active in his local parish, serving as eucharistic minister for many years. His most cherished moments were spent with family, especially being surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There were many days spent at the family cottage together, where he was often seen running full-tilt into the water. There was not a person who met him, who didn't comment how gentle and compassionate he was. Ever the peacemaker, he had an easy going nature that was unforgettable, and an open door policy at their home that enabled them to have so very many friends. Special thanks to the caregivers who provided exceptional care to Papa during his difficult illness. Our Papa was taken care of by a group of ladies that treated him like their own father with comfort and love all while supporting and caring for Momma too! We are forever grateful to Marilyn, Juliet, Loreli, Letty, Norma and Yolly. Due to Covid-19, all visitations and funerals are restricted to a specified number of attendees. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, as well as provide name and telephone number to funeral home staff.
