BIAGIONI, Sergio – October 27, 1935 – January 26, 2021

It is with profound sadness, that we announce the death of Sergio Biagioni, on Tuesday January 26, 2021, at The Hamilton General Hospital, in his 86th year. Sergio was the loving husband of Jessie (Ghislaine) for 62 years. He leaves behind his daughter Rose (Bill) Stathakos, his son Mike (Julie) and three grandchildren, Lucas, Joshua and Ashley. They were the joy of his life. He also leaves behind his sister Luciana, many sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces, nephews and cousins. We would like to thank all of our neighbours and friends, especially, Joanne and Larry who were always there to help. Sergio was a retired 30 plus years employee of the Ford Motor Company in Oakville. He was also a very active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #1142. Thank you Lynn and Chris for all your help and support.

Dear Jessie:

So sorry to hear of your loss; have many memories of "talking over the fence" with Serge when I would be down at Sal & Bud's. I'll be thinking and praying for you and your family.

Uncle Serge left great memories to everyone who knew him. We have smiles on our faces and some stories that we can tell that would make us laugh. Rest In Peace Uncle Serge.

Mike Julie and Family,
Thinking of your all at this difficult time. It was a pleasure spending time with him at the hockey rink watching his grandson play. He always cheered the loudest . He loved them and was so very proud of them all. May your memories of him be full and everlasting .

Dear Jess,
We had the pleasure of meeting both you and Sergio at the Hamilton General Hospital. My mother, Laura, was Sergio's roommate during the last week of his life. We were blessed to have been able to chat with him and enjoyed hearing his stories. He was very proud of his family! Sergio is now at peace and no longer suffering. Jess, may you find comfort, knowing that we are united with you in your sorrow. May the memories you have of your beloved Sergio, help mend your broken heart. Our deepest condolences to you, Jess, and the rest of your family. Sincerely, Emily & mom Laura DeBenedictis

the Biagioni family
So sorry to hear of the passing of Serge. Such a wonderful gentle person and very competitive in our Monday afternoon senior bowling league. The best memory we have of Serge is when he was going hunting up north and would stop at the chocolate outlet store and bring us back tons of chocolate at no charge. Our prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

My condolences to Jessie & Family. I have fond memories of Sergio at the Loyal Order of Moose. He was our class candidate for ritual practice, he always attended our monthly Moose Legion Committee meetings and supported every Moose endeavor with service and substance. I won a small Wishing Well that Sergio had crafted in a WOTM raffle. He even repaired it for us several years ago and it decorates our front yard. He was a proud Moose Legionnaire/Fellow and will be missed but not forgotten. Kenny "O" & Annette

The game of life is unfair,
It allows us too love
Then takes that love away
