Sharon Marie Marshall

Sharon is reunited with her late parents, Wilfred and Doreen Burgess (nee Duffield) and her little brother Danny. Dearly missed by her partner Alan Cameron. Loving mother to Rebecca (Shawn) and Christy (Kyle) and her step-children Cara (Andy) and Kirk (Zuzy). Adored Nana to Alexa (Ethan), Gavin (Holly), Griffin, Wyatt, Emily and Penelope. Loving sister to Wayne (Lori) and Tom (Sandy) and favourite aunt to many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Sharon will be remembered for her kindness, her fashionable style and her love of a glass of red wine. She enjoyed travelling and cruises, apres ski parties in Collingwood and weekend shopping trips with her girls. Sharon's warm heart and contagious smile would light up a room. She loved and was loved by all. Sharon worked at Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board for over 25 years. She took great pride in her time at the school board and was often teased that the board would not fall apart if she took a sick day. We wish to thank the caring staff at Wentworth Heights LTC for their dedication and care to our mom over the last 6 months. Donations in Sharon's memory can be made to The Alzheimer's Society of Canada.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Ave East, Hamilton, ON L9A1T2 (905-387-2111). Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Cresmount Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
